Iron Mike traded his boxing gloves for a Power Glove NES controller pad this week on ‘The Tonight Show‘. The former champ accepted a challenge to face his demons himself via the NES classic, ‘Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!‘ Not even host Jimmy Fallon‘s coaching could save Tyson from himself. Gamergate Suffers ultimate defeat, Anita Sarkeesian appears on ‘Colbert Report’
In other late-night news, media critic Anita Sarkeesian joined Stephen Colbert on ‘The Colbert Report‘ this week. The so-called “Gamergate,” the topic which has plagued social media and the /r/gaming subreddit for the past few months finally escalated to the point that the greatest of political minds had to weigh in. Xbox One tracks paranormal activity?
Ever since the release of the Kinect motion sensor controllers in 2010, gamers have been posting videos of “Kinect Ghosts” detected by their Xbox 360. The Kinect prompts you when a new person is in the room. While dismissed by many as a glitch, there are hundreds of videos on youtube of not only “someone not there” being detected, but these “ghosts” also using the motion controller to operate the system.
