A Will Smith-less Men In Black Trilogy Is In The Works
Good-ish news! The bigwigs at Sony want to protect the Earth from the scum of the universe with a fresh batch of Men in Black films that will be “reinvented as a trilogy.”
Original Men in Black producers Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald told The Hollywood Reporter there has been “very active” talk of reviving the franchise. But the catch is Will Smith “most likely” won’t be involved.
So no more of this:
Anyone who was following last year’s leaked Sony emails might recall talks of a crossover film involving Men in Black and Jump Street, so just maaaybe Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum will inherit those sharp-looking suits and kick some alien butt. That’s not nearly as outlandish as some of those hilarious bogus sequels at the end of 22 Jump Street.
