Music For Muggles: The Toronto Symphony Will Play Harry Potter Live
How much Harry Potter can you handle? While New York hosts Puffs, or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic & Magic (buy your tickets now, before the border wall goes up) Toronto is getting its own evening of witchcraft and wizardry courtesy of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, The Sony Centre, and Attila Glatz Concert Productions.
Having tackled the movie music of Tim Burton and Lord Of The Rings already, on June 27, 2017, the TSO will take over Toronto’s Sony Centre for a screening of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone accompanied by a live performance of composer John Williams’ memorable soundtrack. On October 12, they’ll follow that up with a concert/screening of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Tickets for the first Potter night are currently on sale and go for $49 and up.
Need more Potter sooner? No need to resort to a poorly executed summoning charm. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is coming to (a theatre near) you in just one week.
