‘Game Of Thrones’ Is About To Bring Winter (And A New Trailer) To IMAX Theaters
HBO’s massive “Game of Thrones” is about to get even bigger — and we mean that quite literally.
The Loop reports that 150 IMAX theaters across the United States and Canada will screen the final two episodes of “Game of Thrones” season four for a one-week limited run, from January 23 through 29. What’s more, an exclusive trailer for season five will also be revealed during these showings.
The penultimate episode of season four, “The Watchers on the Wall,” was already one of the most action-packed hours of “Thrones” to date, what with the focus on Jon Snow and the Night’s Watch battling it out with Mance Rayder’s army of wildlings. So, just imagine how the battle could play out in IMAX…
Yeah, pretty epic. Not to mention other massive moments like the season finale’s battle between the Hound and Brienne:
Bran Stark’s friends battling an army of skeletons:
And Tyrion Lannister putting his father down for good:
Between reliving those moments, as well as getting a first look at season five, the “Game of Thrones” IMAX experience seems like a must for any and all Westeros worshippers. Tickets go on sale today.
