Are These New Images From ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ Or Toys?
Clearly Hot Toys, the Hong Kong-based production company famous for its sixth scale models of your favorite superheroes, are using some kind of evil wizarding powers to shrink celebrities and sell them as collectible figures. I’d say we need to assemble the Avengers to take care of this problem, but we’d like to assemble our own collection first.
Of course, the level of gorgeous detail that all of these exceptional “Age of Ultron” figures feature also mean that most of them cost upwards of $200 (the Hulkbuster armor in particular retails for $845, which is more than the price of two brand new Apple iPads). But at least looking at these figures is completely free — and also pretty mind-bending at that. You mean it’s NOT actually Jeremy Renner I’m seeing right now? He’s only twelve inches tall? WHAT.
See for yourself, but don’t say we didn’t warn you:
Let’s hope that Hot Toys keeps building up the team with Thor, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver! Just imagine what that mane of black and white hair would look like on a tiny 1/6 scale Aaron Taylor Johnson.
