Thor And Loki Reunite On Thor: Ragnarok Set For Spoiler-Filled Photos
Another day, another photo of Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston on the set of Thor: Ragnarok in Australia. For what it’s worth, we would totally watch a reality show called Thor & Loki Take The Gold Coast. (Get on it, Marvel.)
Hemsworth and Hiddleston were snapped on the busy set of the third Thor flick in Brisbane on Sunday (August 21). The Asgardian brothers appeared to be wearing everyday clothes—Loki in a fitted black-on-black suit (of course) and Thor in jeans and a hoodie—in what looked like New York City. (Hmmm. What would bring Thor to NYC?) Hemsworth posted a photo of them sitting in front of a bodega, and eagle-eyed fans will notice that the newspapers behind them read, “Villain Loki Spotted,” “Has Thor Returned,” and “Hammer Attack.”

Hemsworth also took to Instagram to thank the people of Brisbane for “letting us disrupt the traffic and shoot a piece for our little film #thorragnarok in your beautiful city!!!” We’re pretty sure they didn’t mind, dude.
Director Taika Waititi even posted a few spoilery photos of his own on Twitter. First, he confirmed that Hemsworth is indeed the star of Thor: Ragnarok. We don’t know about you guys, but it feels like Mjolnir has been lifted off our chests.
However, Waititi may have actually let a major spoiler slip when he retweeted a trio of on-set photos. One photo in particular shows Thor in his street clothes holding a business card with the location 177A Bleecker St—the address of Mr. Stephen Strange a.k.a. The Sorcerer Supreme a.k.a. the star of Marvel’s Doctor Strange, who’s making his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe later this year.

It’s not really a surprise that Waititi would recruit Benedict Cumberbatch for a small Ragnarok cameo. After all, the MCU is gearing up for a major crossover event with Avengers: Infinity War, and who better to bring Strange into the fold than a fellow outsider like Thor? But the real question is: Who gave Thor his address? Also, why is he standing in a pile of rubble in the middle of New York City?!
We’ll have to wait until next year to find that out, but in the meantime, let’s take a minute to appreciate Waititi’s zero-fucks-given attitude regarding spoilers.
