Here’s What The Cast Of Kyle XY Is Up To Now
In the mid-2000s, Freeform (neé ABC Family) aired a sci-fi/mystery show about a family who took in an amnesiac teen found naked and belly button-less in the woods. Kyle XY, which turned 10 years old last month, showed us what it really meant to be “human,” since Kyle had to basically relearn all human emotions.
The series gave us some fantastic ships, such as Kyle and Jessi, Declan and Lori, and Josh and Andy—although you know you shipped Kyle and Declan so hard, don’t lie. Check out what the show’s leads are up to now, a decade later.
Matt Dallas, “Kyle”
Dallas married singer Blue Hamilton in July 2015 and the couple have an adopted son named Crow. Dallas and Hamilton also run a YouTube channel called “Matt + Blue” and post new videos every Tuesday. Still acting, Dallas has three films slated for a 2016 release, including Tell Me Your Name, which he also produced.
April Matson, “Lori Trager”
Matson recently played April Johnson on the web series The Gratitude Clan (pictured above). Currently living in Idaho, Matson founded PLATFORM, a company designed for creative individuals to collaborate on ideas. in December 2015. She’s also the office manager for AnchorPoint Accounting, according to her LinkedIn page. Look for her in the mystery-thriller Primrose Lane, set to premier in theatres this September.
Jean-Luc Bilodeau, “Josh Trager”
Bilodeau plays Ben Wheeler on the hit show Baby Daddy and will portray Barry in the upcoming drama Axis, directed by Archer star Aisha Tyler. He was also the heartthrob in the 2010 Disney Channel film 16 Wishes, opposite Debby Ryan.
Kirsten Prout, “Amanda Bloom”

Prout joined the Twilight universe when she played Lucy in Eclipse, and guest-starred on shows such as NCIS and Devious Maids. Additionally, she was Charlotte “Char” Chamberlin on The Lying Game and appears to be channelling that character with her new project, Woman of the House.
Chris Olivero, “Declan McDonough”
Since Kyle XY, Olivero has kept a pretty low profile and social media presence. His last two acting credits on IMDb are TMI Hollywood and a guest-starring role on NCIS: Los Angeles (pictured above), on which he played the bad guy who murdered marines.
Marguerite MacIntyre, “Nicole Trager”
Besides Kyle XY, MacIntyre is arguably best-known for her role as Sheriff Liz Forbes on The Vampire Diaries. She was also a writer and story editor for The Originals and wrote two episodes of the short-lived TV show Containment.
Bruce Thomas, “Stephen Trager”
Thomas played Liam’s Dad on MTV’s Faking It and has had a major role in video games, lending his voice to Halo 5: Guardians, Fallout 4, and more. Moreover, the Kyle XY dad joined the Batman universe by voicing Commissioner Gordon in Batman: Bad Blood.
Jaimie Alexander, “Jessi Taylor”
Currently, Taylor is the star of the show Blindspot and joined the Marvel cinematic universe as Sif in the Thor films. Furthermore, she’s quite the skilled doodler and still BFFs with Dallas. I also feel like it’s important to mention that her dog Etta is a giant fluffball of cuteness.
Nicholas Lea, “Tom Foss”
Formerly Alex Krycek on The X-Files, Lea played Mark Francis on Arrow and had recurring roles on The Killing and Continuum. According to IMDb, Lea is currently filming the TV movie Campus Caller and comedy Status Update.
Magda Apanowicz, “Andy Jensen”
Since Kyle XY, Apanowicz has also been on Continuum and was in the controversial Eli Roth film The Green Inferno. Currently, she’s starring in Tulips, Honour, Love and a Bike and teaching herself how to cook.
Chelan Simmons, “Hillary Shepard”

Simmons married in August 2015 and recently gave birth to a daughter. She guest-starred on Mistresses and will be in Assassin’s Fury, though the release date hasn’t been announced yet. Additionally, her dog Tibby has a killer Instagram.
