Witchcraft is defined as the use of alleged supernatural or magical powers or spells and throughout modern history, witches are usually portrayed as somehow in league with the Devil. Although one of the central tennants of the Wiccan faith is "Do No Harm", witches have been popularly portrayed as using spells to hurt others (Remember Marnie in True Blood?!) So Cynthia wanted to find out more about the Wiccan faith with the hopes of "dispelling" the negative cultural myths.

Science fiction author Cory Doctorow has been very busy lately. A few weeks ago he published a book for young readers called Pirate Cinema, and he's just co-written a new novel for adults called The Rapture of the Nerds. We caught up with Cory recently to find out more about his latest collaboration.

That old saying "One man's trash is another man'"s treasure hits the mark pretty squarely in the case of a Halifax sculptor named Ed Beals. Ed is an imaginative guy who builds all sorts of cool, retro-sci-fi-looking contraptions out of cast-off appliances, along with other bits & pieces of unwanted household hardware, and we visited him while we were in town for Hal-Con!

Last week Teddy got as close as he could ever get to their home planet of Skaro, when he visited the Workshop of the Daleks.

Last week, you may recall that Ajay visited Syd Bolton's Personal Computer Museum in Brantford Ontario and was briefly but blissfully reunited with his beloved Amigas. But Syd also keeps what may be one of the world's biggest collections of videogames in his basement! The gaming side of Syd's hoard isn't normally open to the public - or not yet anyway, but we were lucky enough to get special access.
