Ramsay And Reek Remind Us Game Of Thrones Is Just Fiction With One Big Kiss

Friends is a funny word on Game of Thrones. Is anyone really friends in the Seven Kingdoms? Sure, Robert Baratheon and Ned Stark were practically brothers, but they’re dead now. See what good came of their friendship? Every relationship in Westeros is a means to an end; every vow of brotherhood ultimately gets broken.

However, during Tuesday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, sadistic man-child Ramsay Bolton and his former torture doll Reek at last made amends—with one perfect kiss. OK, so maybe it was their handsome off-screen counterparts Iwan Rheon and Alfie Allen doing the kissing, but it still has to count for something.

Sometimes fans can blur the lines between fiction and reality, so it’s important to remember that even though their characters don’t get along on the show, Rheon and Allen do IRL. “People are sort of like, ’Oh, I can’t believe you two are friends,’” Rheon tells Kimmel. “Then I just sort of politely point out, ’Do you also believe in dragons?’” (Damn, Bolton. Who knew you were capable of sending such sick burns in the north? ???????????? Coincidentally, that’s also my response when someone says, “That’s just how they treated women back then.”)

If there are two people who understand Rheon and Allen’s daily struggle, it’s these guys:

Buds.

Rheon, Allen, and Michael McElhatton (Roose Bolton) also premiered a brand-new clip from the Season 6 premiere, which featured Sansa and Theon (née Reek) crossing a freezing river. Something tells me there’s something even more horrific waiting for them on the other side.
