Dark Matter’s Anthony Lemke Talks Season Finale And His Humanitarian Work In Laos
It turns out that Anthony Lemke, better known as Dark Matter’s Three, isn’t just a good guy on screen—he’s also a humanitarian hero. Lemke stopped by the InnerSpace studio to chat with Teddy Wilson about the exciting season two finale of the hit sci-fi series, but also delved into his philanthropic work with that took him to the small Southeast Asian country of Laos earlier this year.
As a Canadian ambassador for charity Handicap-International, Lemke chose to bring awareness to Laos because he was shocked at the country’s story and how the threat of undetonated ordnances continue to affect the lives of people living there.
Nearly two decades after the end of the Vietnam War, Laos is still littered with millions of unexploded bombs, killing more than 50, 500 innocent victims since 1964.
“In the Western mind, in the North American mind, that is over,” Lemke said. “The war is over, but for the people who live in Laos, it’s still going on.”
