In "Death's Cleansing Embrace" we see the role of the over-bearing mother taken to another level; Agnetha continues to meddle in her son's life, this time choosing extreme measures to "protect them from the evils that lurk". Last week the episode ended with Ty finding Eva locked in the freezer at the point of death. Agentha eventually comes clean to her grief stricken son, telling Ty that she was the one who killed Eva, only because she was going to lead to his eventual death – justified reason I suppose... After a plea to her son, she convinces him that he should help and cover up the murder as a suicide – immediately starting the “who done it” story line that progresses throughout the rest of the episode.
