What did we learn last week? Well, I learned more about cholera and St Anthony’s Fire than I ever wanted to and I also learned no one should f*ck with Detective Inspector Reid because he will inject poison directly into your mouth to get information out of you. It was an act that was both shocking and air-punching worthy.

Speaking of punching the air, this week’s episode will guest-star Paul McGann! Epsiode 4, titled “The Good of this City”, finds a newly elected London councilor (played by McGann) unearthing an inconvenient murder scene as construction gets underway on the city's Underground. Fans of the hit BBC series Luther will recognize McGann as Mark North but long-time Whovians will spot him in his the one-time television appearance as the Eighth Doctor.*

We will also be treated to a little more character development from our crime-solving triumvirate as they deal with a pregnant 16-year-old former prostitute who is at the centre of a complex conspiracy.

“The Good of this City” airs this Saturday at 9E/6P on SPACE and can be seen again right here on spacecast.com.

* Say what you will about that awful 1996 Doctor Who TV movie, but Paul McGann was amazing as the Doctor!**

** This is not a Doctor Who post. Stop it right now!
