After the sad news that Merlin and co. will not be returning for a sixth season, we have some good news that we hope will turn Merlin fan's frowns upside down - a date for the Season 5 premiere - Saturday, January 5th at 8E/5P!!

The gang returns to muck about in Camelot while continuing to be blissfully unaware of Merlin's magical powers.. Speculation abounds for how the series will be ended. There may already be canon for Arthur's fate, but will they follow it?

The Season 5 premiere, “Arthur’s Bane (Part 1)” finds Camelot three years later, in a time of peace. Arthur has never felt so strong, but as the city relishes in its ‘golden age’ dark forces are brewing across the land. Men start disappearing into the frozen territories of the north and in search of answers King Arthur and his Knights must undertake a dangerous mission to the unknown.

This SPACE-Mas, we're running a "Complete Merlin-athon" from Wednesday January 2nd (Season 1) through Saturday January 5th (Season 4) leading straight up to the premiere episode of Season on Saturday night.
