Are you prepared to be scared? If last week’s episode wasn’t proof enough, Ghost Mine continues to spook. For some reason I never put the two together—that a dark underground fort could possibly be filled with ghosts lurking in the shadows—but this episode was enough to make me a believer. The mines of Oregon sure have every element needed in a spook-tastic show; it not only features trusty paranormal experts, but it also has a hilarious cast of superstitious men (women and redheads, steer clear!) who continue to treat each ghost encounter with great comedic timing.
In the last episode, we saw the miners and paranormal experts dealing with a bunch of “mysterious” power outages. Although I’m pretty sure the ghost that Patrick (paranormal expert no.1) was speaking to had something to do with it.
“Phantom Wind” picks up right where the obviously camera-friendly ghost left off—this time frightening the miners rather than the experts. That being said, this episode inspired me to research supernatural occurrences here in Canada, leading me to this story of the historic Atlas coal mine in Alberta.
Have a read and let us know what you think. I don’t know about you, but the odds of me going near any mine after this show are slim to none.
