At WonderCon last week, InnerSPACE's Teddy Wilson tracked down our favourite brilliant, crazy-haired author Neil Gaiman and grilled him on his upcoming episode of Doctor Who. “The Doctor’s Wife” will be the fourth episode in Season 6, but details thus far have been murky. Until now.
It was a lifelong dream for Gaiman to pen a Who episode, and as he began typing “Interior TARDIS”, he was hooked. He told us what he loves about Matt Smith’s Doctor, and how poignant it was for him to write Eleven.
"In my episode I got to be really proud because I got to write scenes where Matt got to be vulnerable and I got to write scenes in which Matt got to be disturbed and upset and experience things that The Doctor doesn't normally get to experience and Matt breaks your heart, he's just wonderful."
And then he revealed something that might get him in trouble: His favourite line from his episode.
