Season 1: I dived into this series with a clean slate having not seen one episode of the UK version. It saved me from constantly comparing it to the original. I found it decent enough but incredibly slow-paced.

[insert two-year hiatus where I missed Season Two completely but finally watched the UK series and became obsessed with George, Mitchell, Annie, Tom and Hal compelling me to re-visit the US version starting with Season One and judge it more harshly]

That said...

Season 2: Veering away UK’s storylines, US finally came into its own and well, let’s just say sh*t gets cray! Sally starts possessing people to disastrous results, Nora discovers she is a werewolf to disastrous results, Josh meets with a couple of purebred werewolves to disastrous results and Aidan is Aidan... to disastrous results.

So where does that leave us as we enter season 3? Who survived the Mexican stand-off? How will Sally be reunited with Josh and Aidan? How can vampires grow facial hair when their bodies are technically dead? Will my quartet of supernatural beings finally find happiness without messing with the natural order of things? Computer says no to that one but here’s hoping!
