007 is nearly set for his return in 2015. Pre-production work on “Bond 24” has already begun, despite some casting work that still needs to be complete. And news today (October 10) from the Daily Mail suggests that the movie is one step closer to becoming another secret agent classic.

The British paper, which historically has a nearly spotless track record for 007 scoops, reports that Léa Seydoux has landed a role as a “femme fatale” in the 24th James Bond movie, set for release in November 2015.

Seydoux had been rumored as director Sam Mendes’ pick for the part back in August (another Daily Mail exclusive), and now it seems that the French actress has locked down the role, which is being altered to fit her nationality.

You may recognize Seydoux has the quickly rising international star from movies like “Inglourious Basterds,” “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” and “The Grand Budapest Hotel.” She earned worldwide acclaim for her role in the Palme d’Or-winning film “Blue Is the Warmest Color.”

Seydoux will join Daniel Craig, Naomie Harris and Ralph Fiennes, who are all returning to the series.

“Bond 24″ is scheduled to hit theaters on November 6, 2015.
